- 1 cup of vanilla almond milk – Replace this with soy milk for extra protein or whichever milk you prefer. I personally like the taste of almond milk in my smoothies…gives it a nutty flavor plus keeps the carbs down.
- 1/2 scoop of non-gmo yellow pea protein – This is my secret ingredient. Adding a veggie protein powder gives this smoothie a healthy balance. I purchased this one on Amazon.
