These past few days have been a bit tough. We have been trying to control our little ones chalazions 24/7; however, those pesky enlarged things are not budging. We’re going to try a new method this week but looks like our little one might need to undergo a second eye surgery. And due to having very little time to work on any home projects, I wanted to share a quick way to put together a simple yet chic Easter mantel using a couple DIY items in a few minutes.
This year, we started our Spring DIYs using these cute little birdhouses from Michaels which were $0.85 a piece (used their Sunday 15% coupon). Mia had a blast painting her little house in her favorite color, pink. Can you guess which ones hers? 🙂
As you can see, we couldn’t wait for the first day of Spring (our weather in Southern California has been in the 90s!) so we added the little birdhouses onto our Easter mantle decor. There’s no rule that we can’t mix holidays and seasons, right? Also, we purchased this cute black and white Easter egg garland from Serendipity Delight. Isn’t it the cutest? Fits right into our color scheme.
Lastly, I made this quick Easter sign using last years $1.99 clearance sale item frame, $0.69 poster board and $2.72 font stickers (40% +15% off coupon) all from Michaels. Easter sign = $5.40
I painted the frame with black paint I already had, glued the poster board onto the frame, added font stickers and viola!
Be sure to stop by our TMO shop. We have these cute bunny digital prints (made using shapes) and our Easter wreath.
