I try to consistently eat healthy meals but I’ll admit, chocolate is my vice. At times, having a stash of chocolate can be all too tempting not to eat. And by that I mean, all at once. For those days or when I just need a chocolate fix, I make this delicious healthy snack that includes fiber, protein and low carbs. Best part of it all it includes dark chocolate covered almonds. Yummy!
Spinach, Fruit & Dark Chocolate Snack
- 1 cup organic spinach
- 1/2 cup chopped organic strawberries
- 1/2 cup organic blackberries
- 1/2 cup chopped organic kiwi
- 5 Brookside Dark Chocolate Almonds
- 1/2 of an orange
Place spinach in bowl and add chopped strawberries, kiwi and blackberries. Cut an orange in half and squeeze half of the orange onto the spinach and fruit. Toss it all together. Slice about 5 Brookside Dark Chocolate Almonds and place onto spinach and fruit. It’s like a salad and dessert all rolled into one!
