I can’t believe the holidays are just around the corner. I mean weren’t we just enjoying frozen yogurt on a hot summer night the other day? It could just very well be that our seasons in Southern California are pretty much non-existent but at any rate, the leaves are finally starting to fall and this brisk morning air is getting me ultra excited for the holidays not to mention the birth of our second child. Eek! Less than five weeks to go.
Also, since we’re pretty big on reading to our little one, we decided to search for a good Christmas book this year. Such a neat new tradition for our growing family.
We ended up visiting our local Hallmark Gold Crown store. And, let me tell you, we found the cutest holiday book ever. Mia could not wait to get home and read it. The best part about this book is that it’s interactive and gets the kiddos involved throughout the story. Oh and did I mention it has the Peanuts gang? Just in time for the new Peanuts Movie.

We also scored a super adorable Disney Minnie Mouse baking set for Mia and can’t wait to share what we made with it. Be on the lookout for our next baking with kids post.
